"I am trying to put a lower unit back together on a '89 8 hp yamaha and the shift wedge has been pull out of the lower unit. Is there a trick to get it back in? I am speaking of the wedge at the end of the shift rod with 3 facets on it to, i assume, shift forward/nuetral/reverse."
