Confused about motor I just bought Merc or Force

I just bought a 99 tracker Pow

I just bought a 99 tracker Power Plus 40hp elpt. The sticker on the motor says Mercury/Force. Does anyone know who made this motor? Would I get replacement parts for a Merc or Force? The sticker also said 40-50 hp? Anyone have any experience with these motors?

"Force was made by U.S. Marine, a division of Brunswick. Brunswick also owns Mercury. So, Force is a cousin of merc. However, the line was mostly designed by Chrysler. Start with mercruiserparts.com. And yes, there are people who have experience with these motors."
