"Is there anybody out there who can give me a year of manufacture for my Mariner / Yamaha outboard ?

Type: 30E

The plate shows 689 L 411504

Any other servicing info would be much appreciated.ie. Plug type / gap. Recommended Gear oil, Fuel-oil Ratio, important regular checks !

"Thanks Don, Have looked and helps a little but nothing conclusive !

Having problems with outboard, when I run it for say, 20 mins It starts to struggle and the revs reduce. then throttle back and after a while it recovers and will run well again for a while. Continued to follow this trend. Wondering if problem could be carb related (float level issue ??). hoping not cooling problem, new impellor fitted to pump 18 months ago by previous owner so he says.
