Hello I am new to the forum. I

Hello I am new to the forum. I am getting a squeaking sound that sounds like it is coming out of the tilt cylinder going up and down. It stops squeaking as soon as it gets on the trim cylinders.The fluid level is good. Please Help
 
Sounds like a bushing / bearin

Sounds like a bushing / bearing could be going out. Good time for a tear down and inspection before something bad happens.

"That noise is usually caused by the center upper tilt rod bushing contracting bad around the pin it attaches to. Corrosion sets in resulting in the nylon bushing seizing that pin with unbelievable force.

Short of removing that pin and bushing assembly (quite a job), you could apply some heat to that upper pin/bushing area which might cause that bushing assembly to loosen its grip slightly. Worth a try."
