I am considering a boat with 6

I am considering a boat with 6-53N's. I have experience with 71Ti's and 92Ti's and all have Air Seps. What differences should I expect if I convert the 53's to Air Seps? Is this a job for a mechanic? Is Walker the only company producing "Airseps"?

"This is a fairly easy conversion and does not require a mechanic if you have basic wrenching skills. Walker makes a conversion kit, however if you have the steel cylinder head covers you will have to convert to the aluminum to make it work. THere will be no difference in performance but the longevity of the engine is increased due to filtered intake air. Your bilges wil be drastically cleaner as well. Make sure you also get the air box collector device as that is the biggest engine room polluter without it."

If I was you I would stay away

If I was you I would stay away from AirSeps. They are not worth the money. A much better system is the Racor CCV system. Much more reliable than AirSeps.
