"My boat use to pull left real hard ,but now it runs straight and true after i adjust the (trim exhaust outlet).Question is on the trim how come i had to turn that trim real far to get boat to run straight i seen alot of boat trims but never seen one turn this far from being centered to keep the boat straight, Why ?????????"

"Most boats with Volvo Penta 270, 280 and 290 outdrives do have a tendency to pull to the left because most of the propellers installed on those units are left handed. However, weight distribution also affects which way a boat tends to pull. Unless your outdrive has a bent skeg, the above could explain what you are experiencing."

275 with the same problem, although I have yet to adjust. I just replaced the stripped out bolt for the adjustment today."
