"On my 1975 115, I replaced the water pump, drive shaft seals, shift rod O-ring, new gaskets on the shift housing and water pump housing. I see no oil leaking out, but I find water in the gear case after use.
I noticed when running on the hose that water is being pumped out the grommet on the shift rod. Is the normal?
Can the propeller shaft seal allow water to come in eventhough no oil leaks out, static or observed when running on the hose?
Thanks, Mike"
