"My power trim bleeds off so fast, you can watch the motor slowly going down. I can not keep the boat up to speed because of this problem. I do not see any visual leaks so I'm guessing it's internal problems. Can I fix this myself or do i need to take it to a dealer. I have a 20' Ranger with a 200hp Johnson"

"IF ur mechanically inclined,and have a spanner that will fit top cap of tilt/trim cyl,thats where i would start,re-seal tilt/trim cyl's..this is where 90% of this type prob occurs.remove entire unit fr boat..this can be a prob,w/the retaining pins."
