Thanks just-in-time can you tell me what i'm doing wrong I have removed the lower unit and I have removed the carrier bearing but i cannot get the propshaft to come on out.
 
did you take the pivot pin scr

did you take the pivot pin screw out from your shift shaft? because I had a johnson and i had the same problem till i took that screw out. I dont know if it is the same.
