"i have a 2000 115hp johnson, i have been really happy with it until now. it starts first time every time, even when cold, but i have found that when i have been fishing in the same spot for along period in rough water that the motor won't start and i get a large smell of petrol. i have to let it sit for several minutes until it fially starts. i have just had it serviced and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. does anyone out there know why this is happening???"
