"Help! Replaced impeller begin

"Help! Replaced impeller beginning of summer has worked fine with good water flow. Used last week was fine and this week, no flow. Took leg off, checked impeller, all fine, key still intact and impeller not turning on hub. Would appreciate some suggestions. Is this a thermostat issue and why would it "die" closed? Don't know. Thanks."

"I am no expert,but, on my Yamaha 60 the water goes to the tell-tale before it get to the thermostat. Did you check by tracing the tell tale from the block to the discharge.

Did you manually turn the shaft and see the that the impeller was not turning in the pump housing?"
