I don't know your motor, so can't answer whether or not it has points. Possibly somebody else here would know. Otherwise, pop the flywheel and take a peek.

You might also want to try posting under the Chrysler forum. I know that I usually only check the "Johnson/Evinrude", "Mercury", and "Other" forums since they are the only motors I have. There might be a Chrysler guru in that forum that doesn't check this one.
