Need detailed instructions and tools needed to remove flywheel from 79 100 hp Evinrude. Need to remove in order to try to free up sticking timer base.
 
You'll need a puller that

You'll need a puller that can incorporate three bolts that will need to be screwed into the three threaded holes surrounding the flywheel nut.

Tighten the center spindle of the puller as tight as possible. Apply some pressure under the flywheel with a large screwdriver or tool of your choice to lift it slightly..... then belt that center pulley spindle dirctly on top with the biggest hammer you have. That should pop it off.

Be sure to torque the flywheel nut to 105 foot pounds when reassembling.
