"Just picked this boat up for a pretty decent price and am trying to get it ready to take out for a test run. My questions are pretty simple: How do I know if I have an electric or point start? (I was asked when I tried to order spark plug wires for the engine (Mercruiser 888)). Does anyone know where I can order the trim switch for raising and lowering the outdrive? I am new to the boating world, so your help and patience is appreciated.

As far as the trim switch, clean ALL the contacts, don't just look at them and think, "That's alright"."
