Starting problem neutral safety switch velvet drives

"Intermittant problem - engine

"Intermittant problem - engines will not crank once hot. Traced problem to neutral safety switch. Both neutral safety switches do not "make" at times after runnign engine to hot, but work 100% of the time when cold. It seems odd for both to go bad at the same time. Any ideas? thoughts? solutions?"

They are on the transmissions

They are on the transmissions and it only happens when the engins have been running and are hot. They never fail when they are cold.

"As I recall, there is a kit that includes the entire little flat plate held on with bolts, or you can (usually) unscrew the switch itself, leaving on the plate."
