Should I go for a new impeller

I have my boat out

"Hello,

I have my boat out of water at the moment having it antifouled and serviced. The engineer has asked me if I want a new impeller fitted along with the rest of the work.It will cost an extra £90. The water flow is good but the engine is a 5 year old Mercury Bigfoot 60 hp. Should I spend the extra money for this while the engine is out of water? Would I be foolish to leave it until another time and risk a failure? What is the failure rate of impellers on this age of motor?
