Engine dies on hot days fuel design issue possible

Just registered here to let anyone interested know that apparently Suzuki has not fixed this problem yet. Bought a brand new (2012) Carolina skiff with a Suzuki 115 and it is doing the same thing. It does not make you feel good when your motor is still in break in and is already having issues.

I haven't read read all the post, but here is the fix for the origional thread. The issue is caused by the purge valve for the vapor seperator. It is an EPA required item. The valve must be pluged in correctly or you will have a fault. This valve is suppose to shut off fuel vapor emmissions when the motor is not running. The only problem is that the valve could be of a better quality. Corrective action in case of break down or emergency is to remove the vent line to the vapor seperator, reprime the fuel system and off you go. In worst case instances CUT the small silicone rubber line on the vapor seperator. Thanks Martin
