Bravo Drive bellows replacement

New to the forum so I have a couple of questions.
I have owned and don replacement of U-joint bellows on an Alpha drive but the boat I just purchased has a 1992 Bravo One.
I have a Seloc Manual and it shows a speacial tool used to "drive in" the sealing ring on the bell housing side of the gimbal.
Does or has anyone else done a Bravo Drive U-joint bellows and shifter cable replacement and if so did you use the speacial tool or fabricate your own or do you need it at all.
I could take it to the Dealer but the 2 I spoke with today are quoting 5 hrs shop time at anywhere from $75 to $99 per hour. I know this can be a PITA job but 5 hrs seems like a wee bit of a grab.
Any help you can provide would be welcome.
