After running 5 or six tanks o

After running 5 or six tanks of gas the number one cylinder plug is so fouled that you can't see the electrode. It is completely covered with wet grease-like carbon. The compression is very good and it runs well at idle in neutral and also in gear. I am using NGK plugs and I changed the CDM module for the cylinder. That didn't seem to make any difference. The motor also misses when running at faster speeds. Any advice would be appreciated.
