Setup - 6.1 semi rigged 2 x70

Setup - 6.1 semi rigged 2 x70 hp. Engine 1 will on it's own bring boat to a plane and go to max revs. Engine 2 will only reach 4000 rpm - no plane. On 30 min running it uses 2x fuel amnt of engine 1. With help of engine 1 it runs better and go to max revs. Both engines about 3 hrs running time. Engine's 2 choke solenoid became very hot on flushing the engine - seems like solenoid did not release and choke's stayed open. Swopped with Engine 1's solenoid - same problem - choke engage and stays engaged. Engine 1 runs wull on engine's 2 solenoid. Any ideas

"Whomever rigged the engines either plugged the wires in wrong, scraped the harness while rigging it causing a short or you have a gremlin. You need to have a dealer run the test procedures on the number two engine to find out why it's only running on two cylinders...At least I suspect it's only running on two cylinders. Regardless, the engine should be under warranty so an authorized dealer should be the one figuring out whats wrong with it."

Glad to report problem fixed: Fitted 3 new sparkplugs to engine 2 - goes like a bom. Choke solenoid problem - ignition key was "sticky" in key slot and did not release when phused in - used fine sandpaper to smooth key - problem fixed.
