if my trim tab is missing what

if my trim tab is missing what issues would it cause if i take the boat out?
 
Are you talking about the fin

Are you talking about the fin off the bottom of the drive or an actual trim tab missing from your transom?

If it's the one off the drive you may notice an increase in torque steering. Since most single engines have a right hand prop the trim tab is used to help offset this pulling to one side. Normally it wouldn't be too bad but it should be replaced.
