"The more I read the more confused I get. I have a 1956 Chris Craft 18' Continental. The engine was changed to a Crusader V-6 Model 165.
The V-6 exhaust pipes lined up perfectly with what appears to be an original "Y" shaped dual exhaust. Most of the literature states that the first V-8 was for the 1958 model yet my CC, hull #CL 18-270, seems to be fitted with original dual exhaust."
