"we have 98 Imperial 17 foot

"we have 98 Imperial 17 foot Volvo 131 gas engine. we are getting excess oil into our carburetor? We change the oil trap, Flame Trap and o-ring. and still getting oil through vent pipe to the carburetor?"

"I'm by no means an engine expert, but it sounds like excessive blow-by. I had the same thing happen to an AQ130C and it turned out to be a major engine problem...bad rings as I recall."
