"My recently-acquired 2 stroke Classic 50 (not sure of the year) starts and runs great when cold. However, if I try to start it when warm, it acts like it's not getting enough fuel. It runs for a few seconds and then stops. I just can't keep it running. Any ideas? Thanks for any help you can give me."

"This is normally a electrical problem, short in the powerpack or stator. Put a timing light on each plug wire when its hot, no flash = no spark."
