"While I am waiting for the WD40 and karma to disengage my dizzy from the rest of the engine. I would take this oppurtunity to declare that I found a couple of pieces of broken spring lying on the plate. I think that its a foregone conclusion that the advance is hooped. Any Ideas on sourcing or crossing over the advance springs and weights would sure be welcome. I know that this engine has a specific advance curve, but would any volvo distributor parts at least have the same springs and/or weights? ie) 240 or 740?
or any other Bosch dist. Prestolite comes to mind for a possible match....Anyone?"
