"i have a 1972 Chrysler 70HP Outboard motor}. it was working really good but now its starting to act up. first thing, is that it is running straight off the battery. the gas is pumped in but somethings wrong with the combustion. if you diconnect the battery the motor will cut off. also the engine runs down the battery in about 5min. i think it is the generator, but im not sure. the RPMs will run good but when the battery starts running down the RPMs start to lower and lower intill the motor cuts off."
