"Weird, but there is what to me seems an excessive amount of rust on the starboard engine and transmission. The port motor has nearly none at all.
I used a wire drill attachment and it knocks right off and I guess at some point that motor was pulled and wasn't painted/coated with correct rust inhibitors?
I know that there was around 3" of water in the bilge because the battery ran down and the piping that discharges rain water overboard was clogged in several areas and dripped on this side. Look at all that rusty surface area and the wiring nightmare.
Just want to be sure that, fingers crossed, this is something simple.
