1993 Force 50 HP HELP

I have a 1993 50hp Force engin

I have a 1993 50hp Force engine. When putting the motor into gear at idle speed it stalls. It also does not seem to reach max RPM. No tach to verify RPM bit it does not sound like it is reaching 5000 rpm (as I have been told it should)
Runs smooth otherwise (ha ha) THis motor is new to me and I can not find much info on it. Please help!!!

"Robert, most probably a partial blockage/clog in the carb jets - often due to sitting around/not properly prepared for storage - quite common.

Time to pull the carb(s), disassemble, clean, replace gaskets, adjust etc"

"Thank you for your quick response.. After much searching locally I found a carb kit and rebuilt the carb. It started as normal then died.Now it will not run at all. In fact it does not fire at all. Here is what I have done so far:
Ran engine and carb cleaner through fuel system
Rebuilt carb
Changed plugs
Checked spark (good fire)
Checked compression
Checked Timing (32deg btdc at max throttle)
The engine is getting gas and a good spark but like I said will not "hit" at all...In desperation I even tried a quick shot of starting fluid, no sputter, backfire or nothing.. Any suggestions? And thank you in advance!"
