"My re-built engine will max out at about 4300 rpms. What are the optimum rpms for cruising, ie. speed vs. fuel economy? My engine has only 14 hours on it so I am still figuring out things.

Thanks for any insight."
 
"4300 is good for wot, 3000 -

"4300 is good for wot, 3000 - 3500 usually nets good mpg, but it depends so much on the hull design. A Lowrance fuel flow meter or similar only real way to optimize"
