"Hello, Im new to the board. I am looking to buy a boat with a 898 drive. The unit goes into forward gear but does not go into reverse. The shifter seems to move freely. I havent listened to it yet to see if it grinds or what it does. I was just wundering if any one had problems like that before and what caused them. Also is there anything I should check before buying?
