No fuel from my 85hp merc pump

"Primer ball flows freely, reb

"Primer ball flows freely, rebuilt the pump, compression 106-110 on all. Pulses from crankcase ports when cranking. Primed and started it on fast idle, still no fuel from the pump outlet. What next???"

Could be a crack

Could be a cracked supply pipe, perished seal on connector or your tank is empty...

Pump the bulb to supply pressure to pump whilst starting the motor, if it runs, pump is suspect.

Remove connector from fuel hose and pump the bulb, tank could be sucking air too.

Is the vent on the tank open?

Place fuel tank above motor to see if it will gravity-feed.

Remember, no fuel = no oil = re-build...
