1998 Evenrude 25 hp wonbt stop running

I 've had this since 2000

I 've had this since 2000 nothing has been done to it and it has run well for me. I now have trouble shutting it off. What can I do. Also what is the lest cca that I need with this motor.

I have one other question. Can I wire a 24 volt Evenrude trolling motor straight to the battery? Right now it has a 4 prong plug onit but I'm going to put it in a 12 ft semi v bottom that doesn't have any type of hook up.
