I have a 1997 Mariner 150EFI that runs great on top end but sometimes it won't idle or troll. It's worse after it has run for a little while and we stop to fish and try to restart. When I try to restart it it acts likes it's flooded. The only way I can start it is to put the remote on the bypass and rev up the engine. When doing this it smokes really bad and runs rough. I have checked the coolant temp sensor and it reads 673ohms. The air temp sensor reads about the same. Both were tested on a cold engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
