"I HAVE A 1988 DYNASTY 190 FISH-SKI 4.3 ENGINE OMC COBRA OUTDRIVE. I HAVE ELIMINATED FUEL TANK PROBLEMS. I HAVE INSTALLED POINTS,PLUGS,PLUG WIRES,REBUILT CARBERATOR, FUEL PUMP,FUEL FILTERS. CHANGED ENGINE OIL, CHANGED COIL, CHANGED GEAR OIL IN OUTDRIVE, CHANGED PROP FROM 14 3/4 X 21 PITCH TO A 14 3/4 X 19 PITCH. ALSO SET TIMING TO 1 DEGREE BTDC. ENGINE CRANKS AND IDLES FINE. BOAT WILL PLANE OUT THE FIRST TIME, THE SECOND TIME IT WON'T PLANE OUT AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE IS LABORING. ON THE SECOND TIME THE ENGINE STARTS OUT STRONG ABOUT 20 OR 30 SECONDS INTO IT, IT GOES UNDER A HEAVY LOAD AND WILL NOT PLANE OUT FROM THAT POINT ON.WHEN ON PLANE, ENGINE WILL RUN 3100 RPM WOT.
