1986 model that hasnt' bee

1986 model that hasnt' been run in a few years. Got it started the other day and seems to run fine except I noticed a coolant leak that appears to be coming from between the coolant tank and manifold. Was burning off and creting a white steam. Thinking just need to replace the gasket but wondering what else I should check or look for? Looks pretty rusted there.

Didnt see any coolant in the exhaust water and engine appers to run at proper temp after a 15 min test.

Thanks

Kurt pressure test of the tank

Kurt pressure test of the tank? Could you describe the procedure for this and tools required?

Thank you

Hey just a suggestion but when

Hey just a suggestion but when you take apart the manifold and riser you may want to check your valves....if its been sitting for years they may be rusted and you can get some blowby. may need a valve job. i just had to do it to one of mine. also check and make sure that suface between the manifold mounting and riser mounting are flat and not rotted away
just a few thoughts good luck
