My Chrysler book does not really cover all Force. The pic added is the unit I have. It is an 89 Force unit that I installed on my 84 Chrysler 90 Hp.
Does it trim at any speed when in the water?
Does the motor on the hyraulic pump run when you trim up while the boat is under power?
Assuming your answer is yes, check the 5 trim cylinder cover bolts to see if they are loose or broke. If they are loose they are most likely stretched and need to be replaced. If the cylinder cover cocks it may be putting the trim piston rod in a bind.
If the motor does not run while under power look for loose and or corroded connections from the trim switch all the way back. T/T Chrysler
