"I am buying a pearson 323 with the above engine. Unfortunately water got into the cabin-about 2-4 inches and got into the motor. The motor was not run--all oils changed and then they started. I'm told it ran fine. Was also told that to check out would need to disassemble motor to see if all seals OK--cost prohibitive. Any thoughts-should the motor be OK, any way to test say running for 10 hours under laod, etc.
By the way boay has been on the hard for 10 years.
Thanks in advance,
Bill Kirch"
