"I had mine redone a couple of years ago. They removed each one and shoved a ton of sealant in each hole and then re-torqued per the specs. The just did them one by one. They also re-sealed around the transom at the same time. It did not hurt that my entire transom was loose and about 1/8" out from the back of the boat. It sounded pretty simple, but they said the bottom bolts on my boat were a P.I.T.A to get to.

Since then, not one drop of water in my bilge for 2 years."
