Can anyone tell me the proper

Can anyone tell me the proper proceedure in adjusting the carbs and idle screw. Each time i think i have it. When i take it to the lake it dies when i put it into gear.

PLEASE HELP

~ 1 1/4 turns on the fuel screws. You are checking the idle speed with the cowl on? Force will tach out with it off.

"You need to set this with the lower unit in the water and not on the flushing rig.

Basically, turn the air mixture screw all the way in (don't tighten it) and back out approx. 1 & 1/4 turns.

Start engine, slowly turn screw in until engine starts to gasp, then slowly back out until it is smooth again.

Then set idle rpm adjustment according to your engine spec."
