What fuel psi is required for

What fuel psi is required for 1957 35hp lark?? I am looking at universal electric pumps that will produce 1.5-4 psi of fuel pressure. Is this enough? if not what should the psi be? or gph? Dont want the pressurized system or to convert it using a diaghpram pump as seen on the internet. Please help. Thank you

"I think I read someplace, (dont remember where) but I seen numbers like 7 or 8 lbs. Now, I dont remember if that was what a motor needed or if that was what a certain pump produced. I was thinking about an electric pump also, ended up with a diaphram pump, minuki. On my 59' 18hp, seems to work. I would think an auto pump that produces anywhere from 8-12lbs with a regulator could be made to work. That way you could turn the pressure down. Dont take my numbers for being exactly right, but it may get you going in right direction. I spent about 2 hours a day for a week researching it and my choice was the minuki pump. Good luck."
