"Hello, I have a honda 50hp that starts fine but stalls as soon as I hit the gas.

I have cleaned the carbs, changed oil, and replaced fuel filter. any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks"

I'm wondering now if they really did it.. I'm a boat mechanic myself but couldn't seem to figure out what else could be the problem. I took it into another shop to have them re-sync it but still same problem

"I had the same problem with a Honda 45 hp(same motor) & it was caused by slightly flat low octane fuel. Changed to high octane fuel & problem solved. These motors run a very lean cruise, so good fuel is critical especially when cold."

Hey thanks! I ended up changing the idle tubes and it fixed the problem. I will change to high octane fuel...Thanks!

Now im having problems with the hesitation
