i have a monkey wards 7.5hp se

i have a monkey wards 7.5hp seaking outboard. where can i find id/serial numbers on it?
any help would be greatly apreciated.

"Mike,
I have a seaking 9.6hp. My serial number is on the front left side of the motor, that is if you are stand behind the motor with the throttle arm pointing away from you. You have to take the shroud cover off and mine is on a small plate just to the left of where the throttle linkage come back thru to the engine. Its not on the shroud, its on the engine housing. Hopefully mine isn't different then yours. Scott"
