"My engine is working pretty well, but I have problems with the power trim tilt mechanisms. the aluminum brackets that mount the engine to the transom are badly corroded and cracked. The power trim is not holding the engine where I leave it. The engine steering pivot is exploded and the grease that I pump in, comes out of the cracks and does not lubricate the steering pivot properly. I'm afraid that the engine might break off and come loose from the transom. I can't keep the trim in position. I can't steer the boat with out extreme upper body strength.
Any suggestions?
