"On a 1962 18 hp evinrude---the brass or aluminium shear pins just seem to snap for no reason in open water with no debris in the area. I put a steel pin in there and it hasn't snapped but it is twisting it all up, a solid piece of steel. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks---"
