"Guys, I have LM318 right hand rotation engine coupled to a PV31 V-drive.
The engine is bad. I also have a 350 Chev marine engine. Of course its left handed rotation. What is required to change the Chrysler to Chevy and right handed to left? Just thinking out loud..... I need a bell housing adapter, flex plate, prop and would rotate the trans pump. Would the gear drive hold up to turning reverse of what it has all these years? Would it affect the tranny in anyway? Its raw water cooled so what about the water pump? Anything else?
