"i have a johson 3 hp outboard

"i have a johson 3 hp outboard motor model number jw-16 serial number 2104115. i cant get it to stay running it will start but then after a minute or two it bogs down and dies. i dont have a manual or do i know what the proper settings for the control knobs for the fuel/air. can someone please help?

I wonder if maybe the fuel pum

I wonder if maybe the fuel pump diaphram is bad or weak...Or if it doesnt respond to your Fuel/air adjustments you probably want to do a complete cleanout / blow out of the carburetor passages.

i have a 1974 9.9 johnson the engine runs fine for a minute or two then sudenly quits also water is runing out the swivel area where the gearshift rod goes down to the lower unit can anyone help me
