"If a motor is seized, is it possible to turn the prop - at all - by hand?

I can turn the prop by hand about 3/4's of a full revolution.

Yes that is possible.

Yes that is possible. There might be a broken piston ring or a connecting rod problem. It could also be an obstruction in the combustion chamber caused by a melted piston or head.
