"Hi, would appreciate some advice: As part of maintenance, I replaced the impeller. I get a great flow of water out of the exhaust at half-throttle but almost none at full throttle. Is this normal? I never paid attention to flow behavior until I changed the impeller. I stopped the engine after a few minutes worried something could now be wrong...

Rather normal as the water is

Rather normal as the water is sucked out together with the exhaust under water at that speed. It is the back pessure in the exhaust system that makes the water come out with the exhaust in the relief holes at the leg at lower speeds.
