30 liter merc wont idle

Your idle in gear should be 65

Your idle in gear should be 650-700 when in forward gear.Shut engine off.Take off your throttle cable. Start engine. Shift into forward gear. Now adjust idle screw near throttle until yor rpm is 650-700.. shut engine off.Shift into netural and put cable back on might need to adjust barrel on throttle if your idle speed was out now start engine and see if idle is good might need to adjust mixture screw as well.
