"I recently bought a new Range

"I recently bought a new Ranger 188vx with a Pro xs optimax 175. I cannot get enough lift from the boat. I am running a 24 pitch tempest plus prop. I am turning about 5430 rpm with a gps speed of 61 mph. The motor is mounted in the second hole from the top. The amount of gas or occupants does not change anything. Do I need to raise the motor 1 more hole or could it be the computer or is this all it will do?

"Look at the cav plate on the motor in relation to the bottom of the boat for best performance it should be in line on slightly above the bottom of the hull,if you raise the motor remember to keep an eye on water pressure.The speed sounds in the ball park to me"
